Join us to create sustainable ideas that support employment and welfare for people with disabilities, enhance product marketability, and tackle climate change!

1. What is a MAKEathon?
A MAKEathon is a play on words from "Make" and "Marathon" - an event where you come up with ideas and create prototypes within a limited time.

2. Why disability and sustainability?
Vocational Rehabilitation facilities for the Disabled (VRDs) provide jobs for people with severe disabilities who face employment challenges.
While offering ethical consumption, many VRDs struggle with poor sales due to a lack of promotion and market access 😰
To build a sustainable society, we need product ideas that boost continued employment/welfare for the disabled, increase product marketability, and address climate change!

You don't need to be a sustainability expert or have a disability-related qualification 😊 Your unique talents and passions are enough! We believe in the synergy created when people from diverse backgrounds come together 🤝💪 Let's tackle these problems together! Anyone with passion in any field is welcome 🙌🎉
